How do I merge group members?

Topicbox does not currently support the direct merging of group members. Attempting to add an email address already in use by another member of your organization will trigger an error message.

To combine two email addresses onto one member account, first remove one of the email addresses from your Organization Users.

Now add the removed address as an alternative email address for your member.

Members should contact their organization owner for additional assistance. If you don't have their direct email address, they can be reached at the group's email address, adding a plus extension for your administrators.

For example:

example_group@example.topicbox.com will need to email example_group+admins@example.topicbox.com
